Some features in many Adobe applications require the Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE). In Mac OS 10.7, Java is no longer preinstalled but is an optional installation item.
Current Adobe installers and applications were built before these changes to Mac OS and anticipate that Java is installed. Adobe and Apple worked together to ensure that you can install Java with Mac OS 10.7, or at a later time before you install Adobe applications. (When you start an Adobe application, you are prompted to install Java if it isn't already installed.) In a corporate IT environment, be sure to preinstall Java, or make sure that it can be installed through firewalls or other security software.
If the Java Runtime isn't installed, the following issues can occur in Adobe applications:
Adobe Photoshop 7 For Mac Os X
Features are missing or behave improperly
The software doesn't start
Prompts to install Java Runtime occur
Applications hang or quit
For instructions to install the Java Runtime, see How to install the Java Runtime (JRE) | Mac OS 10.7 Lion.

CS2 and earlier versions of Adobe products require Rosetta to run on newer Intel-based Mac systems. These older versions are not supported on Mac OS 10.7 as it doesn't support Rosetta.
Mac OS 10.7 has some exciting new features such as Autosave, Restore, Versioning, Full Screen Mode, and more multi-touch gestures. For Adobe applications to fully support these features, additional product development is required. Adobe is working to address this issue. For related information, see Mac OSX 10.7 preference to 'Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps' doesn't work with Adobe applications.
Adobe Reader plug-in and Acrobat plug-in are not compatible with the Safari 5.1 browser, included with Mac OS 10.7 and for 10.6 in July 2011. Adobe Reader and Acrobat continue to work as stand-alone applications on Mac OS 10.7 and 10.6, and render PDF documents outside the browser. In addition, Safari 5.1 renders PDF documents natively. However, the Adobe Reader and Acrobat plug-ins don't function as expected in LiveCycle. And Acrobat workflows that require either plug-in to render PDF documents in Safari 5.1.
Recommendations: If you use forms, digital signatures, portfolios, guides, 3D, extended PDF documents and rights management, and require the Acrobat plug-in to render PDF documents in the Safari browser, Adobe recommends that you continue to use Safari 5.0.x and Mac OS X 10.6. Adobe will provide updates as it continues to investigate this issue. For additional information, see Apple Safari 5.1 and Adobe Reader/Acrobat Advisory.
When Adobe Drive 2 or 2.1 connects to a digital asset management (DAM) server, Photoshop, InDesign, InCopy, Illustrator, and the Mac OS X Finder can't display folders or files in second-level folders of a mounted drive. Adobe Drive 3 addresses this issue. For additional information, see Folder contents not visible in drive mounted on Mac OS 10.7 | Adobe Drive 2.x

In Illustrator CS5 and CS5.1, the option to save or export is disabled in the Save As Or Export dialog box if the save location is the desktop. SeeSave/Export button is disabled on OS 10.7 | Illustrator CS5/CS5.1.
Photoshop Lightroom 3
Canon EOS 5D, EOS 20D, and EOS 350D (Rebel XT/EOS Kiss Digital N) cameras no longer work with tethered shooting under Mac OS 10.7 in Lightroom 3. This article lists known compatibility issues that you may encounter when running Photoshop on macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and provides known workarounds.
Adobe has discovered the compatibility issues listed below with running Photoshop CC 2018 (and earlier) with macOS 10.14 Mojave.
Adobe strongly recommends that customers update to the Photoshop 2019 release prior to updating to macOS 10.14 Mojave. Older versions of Photoshop were not designed, nor extensively tested to run on macOS Mojave. Additionally, we strongly recommend that customers do their own testing on a non-production partition to ensure that new operating systems work with their current hardware and drivers (printing, etc). You may wish to remain on an older version of the OS that is compatible with prior versions of our software.
If you do encounter issues not already documented, feel free to report them on our feedback site.

Adobe Photoshop 7 For Mac Os 10.13
Dark Appearance setting doesn't affect all of the User Interface
When you enable Dark Mode appearance in the macOS System Preferences > General dialog, not all of Photoshop's UI changes to reflect the Dark setting. The Application menus inherit the Dark Mode setting but the following elements do not:
The application frame and panels
Photoshop dialogs
Pop-up menus
Panel Menus
Context Menus
OS dialogs, such as Open... and the Apple Color Picker
Photoshop has its own settings for controlling the application frame, panels and Photoshop dialogs. To have these user interface elements better match the Dark Mode appearance:
Adobe Photoshop 7 For Mac Os 10.10
Go to Preferences > Interface.
Set the Color Theme to the darkest setting.
Adobe Photoshop 7 For Mac
Note: Pop-up, panel and context menus, as well as OS dialogs, such as Open and the Apple Color Picker, are unaffected by this setting.
When you click on the Share icon in the far right of the Options bar to share an image, Facebook, Twitter, etc are no longer an option in the menu.
Photoshop uses the macOS APIs for sharing and these options have been removed in Mojave.
Save For Web settings are not retained between sessions
Adobe Photoshop 7 For Mac Os High Sierra
When you quit and relaunch Photoshop, your last used settings in Save For Web are not preserved. Adobe's engineering team is investigating this issue.
